FS6 T1R 6-Piston Caliper

The FS6 T1R 6-Piston Caliper (*Proto) has arrived.

​

The FS6 T1R stands for "Tier 1 Racing" is an entry level racing caliper specifically designed for full-time race track use. The FS6 T1R features:

  • Forged 2.88KG ultra light weight caliper; an attribute to overall weight reduction.   

  • Full ventilation air duct system on calipers and discs; significantly reduces thermal build-ups during the operation of the brakes.

  • Genuine GR5 Titanium Hydro Vented Pistons; due to its natural tensile strength, we are able to shed unwanted areas to reduce piston weights as well as hydro vented design for maximum cooling effect.  This also means reduced contact surface area with the brake pads, thus reduction of thermal transfer from the pads to the caliper which contributes the brakes to perform at optimum peak performance.

  • 6 lbs anti-knock back springs help reduces knock back of the pistons by the brake discs during extreme driving conditions such as during a race track full circuit course.  

  • Built-in internal dust seals to withstand higher thermal stress under extreme usage.  

  • Prodigywerks AFS+ (Air-Flow Supported) aluminum mounting brackets; compatible with Prodigywerks Air Scoop, which supports additional secondary airflow from behind the wheel to your discs.

Our FS6 T1R 6-Piston Big Brake Kit currently match with our ProdigyWerks 2-piece design floating brake discs and comes in three different sizes, the 330mm x 32mm (13"), 356mm x 32mm (14") and 380mm x32mm (15").  We specifically work with the disc thickness of 32mm to handle better thermal stress during extreme driving conditions.  We also have Carbon Ceramic Floating Discs kit options avaialbe with the disc size 390mm x 32mm to match with our FS6 T1R 6-Piston Caliper.  Our Carbon Ceramic Floating disc assembly each only weights approx. 5.50kg to 6.50kg each.
